History & Mission
Georgetown hosted its first official pride festival in the neighborhood in 2024!
The mission of Georgetown Pride is to host a uniquely Georgetown event celebrating queer culture. By design, Georgetown Pride is not corporate-sponsored, but leverages existing businesses and infrastructure to hold a celebration that is authentic to the fun, vibrant and inclusive community of Georgetown.
The event is put on by a team of volunteers who are passionate about making Seattle's best neighborhood an open, accepting place for all!
