Located 5 miles south of downtown Seattle, GEORGETOWN is Seattle's oldest residential neighborhood.
An independent city from 1904 -1910, our neighborhood includes a strong and active residential core, a growing retail district, a thriving creative community and adjacent industrial businesses.
The Georgetown Community Council is a non-profit organization seeking to improve the quality of life for all who live, work and play in Georgetown.

2021 GCC Board Election
Are you interested in serving on the Georgetown Community Council Board of Directors?
The Directors meet monthly to review and discuss community topics and needs. The Board generally consists of a diverse group of neighbors. Some have lived in Georgetown many years and others are new to the neighborhood. Some work in Georgetown, Downtown, (from home now), or are retired. This is a good opportunity to learn about the neighborhood, city and county. One of best qualifications is wanting to participate in our community and contribute your strengths.
The 2021 Elections will be held on Monday, 1/25 at the GCC Meeting. If you are interested, email and/or attend the meeting.
