Spooky parade to haunt Georgetown on Halloween

Georgetown's first Halloween Parade is taking place this week on Thursday, October 31st!

The event is being hosted by the Georgetown Association of Arts & Culture (GTAAC), and begins at 6:30pm at Mini Mart City Park, ending by 8:00pm at the Trailer Park Mall. Stages will be hosted at Bloom Bistro and the Trailer Park Mall. All are welcomed to join the parade in costume! Simply show up at Mini Mart before 6:30pm or join at the end of the parade as it goes past you along the route!

Streets along the parade route will be closed from 5:30 - 8pm, and residents with any vehicles parked along the route will be unable to move their cars during that time. Residents parked along the route are encouraged, but not required, to consider parking their vehicles elsewhere during the evening.

After the parade, GTAAC will be throw an after-life party at Trailer Park Mall with bands, games and a costume contest. Other venues are having spooky events, too, including Jules Maes Saloon, Siderail, and Post Pike!
