Sai Gon Phô & Bánh Mì damaged, Mikou Teriyaki next door temporarily closed

A pinched electrical wire likely caused a fire that damaged a Georgetown restaurant and temporarily closed another, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
The fire was reported a little after 5 a.m. on Sept. 23 at Saigon Phô & Bánh Mì at 6519 4th Avenue S. Mikou Teriyaki next door suffered smoke damage and was closed several days for cleaning.
More than 50 firefighters were on scene at one point. The fire was knocked down within an hour. The first-floor Vietnamese restaurant was badly damaged. Two occupants living on the second floor were able to exit unharmed.
A pinched electrical wire overheating and igniting insulation and wood around it likely caused the fire, according to a Seattle Fire blog post.
