Extra Yard Waste Free in Nov.
City of Seattle allows residents to get rid of fallen leaves at no extra charge

The temperatures are falling and the leaves are turning. Soon that pretty foliage will be on the ground.
If not collected, leaves cause street flooding by clogging drains and pipes.
For many, the green compost bin will be filled after one leaf raking. So, the City of Seattle will collect extra yard waste put in paper or compostable lawn and leaf bags (not plastic!) at no extra charge.
Residents can set out up to 10 extra bags of leaves for FREE each collection day in November. Other times of the year, extra yard waste costs extra money.
